American Girl Doll vintage Kwanzaa Set

The Kwanzaa Outfit was an American Girl of Today outfit released in 1996 and retired in 1999. The complementary accessory set was the Kwanzaa Decorations.

Kaftan Dress—Rectangular cotton cloth dress of orange, green, gold, and white stripes. Circular neck opening. Head Wrap—Rectangular head scarf, narrowed at one end, same print as kaftan. Has two snaps to ease in keeping the wrap on. Necklace—Beaded gold, red, amber, and green necklace on black cord. Clasps with gold clasp. Sandals—Leather slip on sandals with green and red beads at toe.

Kwanzaa Decorations Include:
Kinara -Wooden candle holder. Carved wood with indentations for seven candles. Candles-Wooden faux candles. One black, three e green. Black is slightly larger than red and green. Corn-Two molded ears of corn. Mat-Woven fiber mat in red, black, green. Unity Cup-Brown cup molded to resemble a traditional West African mask. Fruit-One peach, one pear, and one apple. Basket-Woven basket for fruit and Miniature Book.
