What stands out the most is the combination of high luster and intricate etchings on every visible face of the main crystals surfaces. It has a hoppered like growth habit that give it a skeletal appearance. Within every conceivable crack and crevice one finds interesting complex geometries. There are record keepers galore. To have the Spinel growing alongside Forsterite makes this specimen all the more rare.
