Vintage Bob Dylan Poster Designed by Milton Glaser - Original From 1966
This is an original 1966 Bob Dylan poster designed by Milton Glaser. It was Originally included in some of the CBS released Bob Dylan Greatest Hits albums.
This iconic design can be found in the Museum of Modern Arts design collection. Milton Glaser was one of the preeminent American graphic design artists. Inspired by Marcel Duchamp's self portrait in profile this design features the word "Elvis" hidden in the hair of Bob Dylan.
Milton Glaser co-founded the post modern design shop Push Pin Studios in 1954 with Seymor Chwast, Edward Sorrel, and Reynold Ruffins.
The poster is in good condition, no push pin marks, there are some small splits in the folds that have been taped on the back of the poster, and a crease in the top left corner. See photos.
This would be an amazing addition to any collection.
Measures 33' inches tall by 22' inches wide. Ships folded flat in a plastic sleeve inside of a protective box.
